Do you love mail as much as we do?
Does your heart flutter when you find a
handwritten card in your mailbox?
Do you wish to get more mail?
Then... SEND MAIL!
Write a "we love mail" letter to Newspaper Taxi and include a little stationery related treat inside. Just a little something from your desk.
It could be a pretty card, some stickers, an envelope label, glassine bags, some vintage papers, a luggage tag, a handmade envelope, string, ribbons, some vintage stamps or a roll of tape. It doesn't have to be expensive, just a little something you can spare from your own stationery collection.
We will be filling the window with the mail that we receive, posting pictures of the contents of the letters online and then drawing 3 lucky winners.
We will choose 3 of the letters at random from all the mail we receive and 1st prize will win the contents of ALL the mail. That's pretty exciting! Imagine how much fun it will be for the lucky winner to have a stationery filled parcel delivered to their door.
We also have two runners up stationery prize packs generously donated by our favourite stationery suppliers Rifle Paper Co and Sycamore Street Press. So even if you don't win all the goodies sent in from your fellow mail lovers, you can keep writing letters on beautiful stationery!
Get Busy, this is going to be so much fun!
Please send your "We LOVE Mail" letter to:
NEWSPAPER TAXI
247 Australia Street
Newtown NSW
2042 Australia
Be sure to include your return address so we can let you know if you are the lucky winner.
Competition closes on Friday the 4th of November 2011

Hello Shiagirl, This is our first year with the mail project. Last year Meet Me At Mikes Held the original "Envelope Project" competition in Melbourne, which is where we took the inspiration from to host a similar competition in Sydney! You can see all the pics of the entries on their blog. Thanks so much for your kind words, we will post heaps of pics once the competition closes, and be sure to follow us on Facebook too! Xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenna, I will keep an eye out for your entry! Xx Stef
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for replying. I saw some pictures of the mail sent and I'm amazed at such beautiful colours and creativity. All the people who are sending the letters are really creative.
ReplyDeleteI feel awesome finding this blog because other people share my passion for letter writing, handmade art, and that gives me soooo much joy. The feeling when you go to the post office to get your letter is cool. When you see the letter and read it are the best parts too!
This is a awesome idea I sent mine so it should be on its way!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly, I will get more pics up asap, we had 17 letters arrive today!
